Our free range chickens from O'Regan's Organic family farm, Co Wexford are approx 2kg in weight.

• Each chicken come with a complimentary roasting bag. The benefits of using a roasting bag are that the meat cooks in its own juices and locks in the flavor. 
• The temperature probe indicates when the meat is thoroughly cooked and will pop out when the meat is ready to be removed from the oven.
• Please allow the meat to rest for 15 minutes before carving. This locks in the juices and flavour.

TIP: When it comes to cooking times, it couldn't be easier to calculate – you'll need 45 minutes per kg, plus an extra 20 minutes to finish. If you want to, you can baste your roast chicken once or twice during cooking to help keep it moist.
